Doris J. Borst, passed away peacefully at the age of 91 on June 28, 2025, after a 3 year battle with dementia.

Doris was born in Chicago, on April 14, 1934, to her loving parents Gene Marchetti and Loretta nee Franceschi.

She was married for 54 years to her beloved husband, Lawrence Dail Borst until his passing in 2010.

Proud mother to her daughter, Michelle, who along with her husband Trevor Merrick, gave Doris the title of grandmother to Kyle, whom she adored.

Doris' family circle extended to her cherished cousin Charlene (late Bob) Bellucci and family, and as a beloved aunt to her many nieces and nephews.

Her guidance and humor were the cornerstones of many friend and family gatherings. Her ability to light up a room with her beauty and wit will be fondly remembered by all who knew her.

Doris will be deeply missed, but forever remembered as a loving and kind woman. With her great sense of humor, and zest for life, she enriched the world simply by being herself.
