Dorethea Davis passed away at the age of 64 on January 26th, 2026, in Chicago, Illinois.

She was born and raised in Manhattan, New York. She is survived by her 3 sisters, Carol, Lynn, and Barbara, and her brother Ed. She was preceded in death by her mother, Joan, her sister, Sheryl, and her brother, Paul. She leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who love her. She had a long-standing career as a sous chef and a railroad worker.

She will be greatly missed.
