Dorcas F. Dillon passed away on November 10, 2024, in Chicago, IL, following a car accident and subsequent blood clot complications. Born on March 18, 1933, in Kingsford, MI, to Guy and Fay Domenget, Dorcas's life was marked by her resilience and the joy she often brought to those around her, especially when she was young and acted the part of "the wild and fun aunt who loved playing with her nieces and nephews."

Dorcas was a proud graduate of Kingsford High School in Kingsford, Michigan. Following her education, she embarked on a career that included significant contributions to Northwestern Golf Company in Chicago, and a make-up company, Cosmetique, Inc. Her professional life was characterized by dedication and doing excellent work..

In her personal life, Dorcas was known for her love of singing. She was a cherished member of her church choir, thoroughly enjoying using her voice to glorify her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She shared this passion with her sister, Joyce, especially at Christmastime. Dorcas also had a soft spot for animals, dedicating much of her time to caring for stray cats and kittens around her home.

A fan of television westerns, especially "Gunsmoke", Dorcas could often be found enjoying her favorite shows. Her love for church worship services was equally strong, as she found solace and strength in her faith, which guided her through life's trials and triumphs. She also had a knack for showcasing her sharp and humorous wit.

Dorcas's family was a central part of her world. She was preceded in death by her parents, Guy and Fay Domenget, and her siblings: Bill, Cal, Wesley, and Dale Domenget, Sally Delordo, and Joyce Maki. Her life was also shaped by the love and companionship of her late husbands, Robert Rundblom and Kenneth Dillon.

Her life reminds us of the importance of kindness and laughter, and the impact one person can have on the lives of many.
