It is with great sadness that the family of Dee Ann Schuler (Templin, Nielsen) announces her passing on Monday March 30, 2020 in Rockford, Illinois at the age of 66 years. Dee's passion and dedication for helping others was observed through her 40 year career as a physical therapy assistant and as a leader and assistant of cancer and grief support groups. She was a graceful and devoted member of the Bethesda Covenant Church where she enjoyed worshipping with other devoted friends. Dee welcomed many dogs into her home throughout her life and rejoiced in their companionship. She is lovingly remembered by her sister Debra (Tom) and their children, Dan (Tiffany) and Kristen Cavanaugh, her sister-in-law Rosemary (Herman) Smith and her children, Jacqueline (Tyler) Gerry and Shannon O'Brien, as well as her loving nieces, Wendy (Kevin) Cox and Lora Leland. Dee will also be forever remembered by her church family, cousins, extended family, and other dear friends. Dee was predeceased by her devoted husband of 27 years, Kenny Templin, her second husband Roy Schuler, her parents Frode and Lorraine and her brother Ron Nielsen. A Celebration of Dee's life will be held at Bethesda Covenant Church at a future date and time due to the circumstances of COVID-19.
