David B Zucker passed away at age 70 on May 13, 2024. David was born in Chicago, IL on March 24, 1954, the son of Fred M Zucker and Jeanne H (Burton) Kravits. He received his associate's degree from Lincoln Junior College and his bachelor's degree from Loyola University. David worked as a paralegal for the Circuit Court of Cook County until his retirement but history, politics, literature, and the arts were his true passions along with a lifelong fascination for trains and buses.

He was a longtime member and frequent contributor to the Chicago Literary Club, Civil War Roundtable, College of Complexes, Chicago Archaeological Society, Omnibus Society, and the Central Electric Railfans' Association. He was also devoted to animals as a member of Lincoln Park Zoo and the Audubon Society. David is survived by his two brothers Paul (Susan) Zucker and Eric (Margie) Zucker.
