Darrick Shelton Harris, 63, of Chicago, IL, passed away peacefully on August 22, 2022. Beloved spouse to Linda Harris. Cherished father of Darrick II and Darius. Darrick was also stepdad to Sidney, Brandon, Mckensie, and Cameron. He is survived by Wanda Moise (Aldexter Moise), Marian Hayes, Zandra Hayes, and Kimblyn Porche (Eddie Porche). Darrick discovered his love for horses at the age of 19 when he disappeared one day and was later found at a Palos Heights horse stable. He became an incredibly skilled horseman and trainer. Darrick was loving, passionate, and well known for his humor. He loved spending time at the ranch with his horses, stepping, enjoyed spending time with his friends and family, fishing, and playing his guitar and keyboard at home. He was famous for his winning smile and fun loving personality. Darrick will forever remain in the hearts of his family and friends, may he rest in peace. Private life celebration planned September 1st, 2022 at Poppin' Plates in Park Forest, IL. This event will be followed by a homegoing celebration September 11th, 2022 at Timberland Ranch in Chicago Heights, IL.
