Cora L. Fields (nee Meyerson) was a native of Chicago and was raised in Glencoe, IL and lived in Winnetka and the City of Chicago. She was a graduate of New Trier High School in Winnetka, IL. Cora graduated from DePaul University with a BA, and also attended The University of Illinois, Lincoln College and Lake Forest College. Cora was a successful medical social worker at the Fantus Clinic in Chicago. She served as a political precinct captain in Winnetka for many years. She was married to the late Martin Fields, MD.

Cora is survived by her loving son John Fields and her brothers Laurence R. Meyerson, PhD and Mitch Meyerson. Cora was the daughter of Edwin W. Meyerson and Marion Meyerson (nee Rappeport).

Cora died peacefully at her home of natural causes.
