Claude Alexander Huck (Alex), 84, passed away peacefully on September 12, 2024 in Palos Heights, Illinois.

Born on April 1, 1940 in Evanston, Illinois, Alex grew up in Riverside and Glenview. Son of "Ted" and Barbara Huck and older brother to Schuyler and David. He graduated from Glenbrook High School in 1958 and Dartmouth College (class of 1962) and Dartmouth Tuck Graduate School of Business in 1963.

After graduation he started a career in banking and also served for 6 years in the Army National Guard. He went on to work in commercial banking for 20 years and subsequently created a banking consulting firm Alex Huck & Associates.

He was married to his wife, Pat (Mortorff) Huck, for 54 years and was a devoted and caring father to two children Jason Alexander Huck (wife Ginna) and Jenny Huck Stevenson and a proud grandfather to Owen, Stella, Liam and Sophia.

He was an avid reader and loved to play games, especially cribbage and pickleball. He was often seen driving around Colorado in his convertible Miata with many days spent rooting for his beloved Chicago Cubs and Green Bay Packers. Alex and his wife Pat have lived in numerous locations throughout the U.S. and have developed close relationships and tight circles of friends in each and every location.

His life was defined by what he gave and what a beautiful difference one single life made.

A memorial service will be held at Eagle River Presbyterian Church at 455 Nottingham Ranch Road in Avon, Colorado on Saturday September 28th at 11 a.m. A reception at the church with the family will follow. All are welcome.
