Candace Michelle Landry

Candace Michelle Landry was a blessing from Jehovah.

She was born in Chicago at Rush Presbyterian St. Luke Hospital on June 18, 1984, to the proud parent of Micheal Washington & Juana Landry. She was a beautiful energetic, happy baby girl with gorgeous hair.

She was not alone, she could always depend on her older Brother Micheal. They had an Unbreakable Bond. She shared with her big brother—an inseparable team that navigated life’s ups and downs side by side.

She attended Percy Jullian in Chicago and Independence high school in San Jose Calf. De Anza College California and Olive Harvey Colleges Chicago.

Candace was a woman of ability. She expressed her bright spirit through her music as a talented violin player that grew into a vibrant woman.

On September 24, 1999 Candace would be blessed bringing into the world, her only child Justice who she dearly loves.

She wanted to set an example, so with determination she recently earning her GED and setting her sights on a future with limitless potential.

She loved reading recently she studied the Bible with Jehovah's Witnesses. She would tell her mother how she read the bible cover to cover.

Candace lived life entirely on her own terms, finding her true happiness and a sense of belonging in the city of Chicago, the place she loved and truly wanted to be.

She was preceded in death by her brothers Justin and Quentin and Uncle Kenneth Andre.

She leaves behind a legacy of love and unbreakable loyalty to her family.

She passed away too soon on August 21, 2026 at the age of 42.

She leaves her family heart broken.
