Beverly (Peterson) Lake, age 74, of Rock Mi, passed away on November 11, 2021. While her health was failing for years, her joy for life and indomitable spirit kept her pushing through the pain. She will be immensely missed and always treasured. Beverly was born on 11/17/1946 spending most of her childhood in Walworth, WI where she attended Big Foot high school. After obtaining a masters in piano performance from Roosevelt University, she settled in the Chicago area where she spent most of her life before retiring to Rock, Michigan. As a wife and a mother Beverly loved deeply and unfailingly. She was preceded in death by her parents Maurice and Marjorie Peterson, and her brother JR. She is survived by her husband Norman; children Michelle (Danielle) Piel of Oak Park, IL; Bobby Piel of Venice, Fl; granddaughters Ella and Mimi; sisters Debbie (Tom) Herman, Jan (Tim) Romenesko, Julia (Steve) Tomaszewski, and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at Fair Oaks Presbyterian in Oak Park IL on Tuesday, November 16 at 11am with reception following.
