Obituary

Betty Ann Millar, 81, of Mt. Prospect, IL, had a peaceful passing on March 11, 2024 in Chicago, IL, surrounded by the warmth of her family.

Her family was the centerpiece of her world, she was a great grandmother and leaves behind a legacy of love and caring for her daughter Cynthia Ryan, her sons, Jerry Ryan and William Millar Jr., her sister Judy Flinn, and her 8 grandchildren Kristie Constabileo and Dan Viken and Michelle Tousignant and Kaitlynn and Megan Ryan, Marie and Joshua Millar, plus nieces and nephews; they all will hold her memory close to their hearts. Betty's life was also graced by the steadfast companionship of her good friend Inez Cichon. Her passing was preceded by several beloved family members, including her daughter Lisa Ryan Tousignant, grandson Scott Ernst Jr and her sisters Carole Lund, Patricia Baker, Kathleen White, Roberta DeVenny, and brothers Thomas and William Blucher.

Betty's career as a banking loan officer was marked by her pleasant personality, which made her a favorite among colleagues and clients alike.

Outside of her professional life, Betty found joy in collecting music boxes, creating jewelry, scrabble, butterflies, and country music. She did not hold back sharing her honest and genuine opinions to everyone and her sense of humor made her one of a kind.

A post-cremation memorial will be taking place at Redemption Bible Church on 505 W Golf Rd, Mt. Prospect, IL, 60056 on Saturday, April 13th, 2024 from 11:00am to 12:00pm.
