Beatrice D. Assise died peacefully on October 11, 2020 at her daughters home, surrounded by family, Born April 19, 1926 throughout her life she was a care giver. Even during her last year when she needed care, she was concerned for others. Mom cared for her husband, her children , extended family and friends. Bea comforted all that knew her. Mom enjoyed board games, cards, horseshoes, bowling and music. When we were young music always played in the house, especially the music that reminded her of our father when they courted. Mom sang as she did household tasks. Beatrice was frugal everyone's needs greater than hers. Mom would say "I don't want to be a burden." However she accepted everyone else's burdens. Bea never traveled never was on a plane, boat or train. "My life is my children " she would say. Later that included her grandchildren, great grandchildren and beloved pets. Bea was so proud of her family in its entirety often speaking of her nieces and nephews. MY MOTHER EPITOMIZED UNCONDITIONAL LOVE.
