Their marriage was blessed with two children, Robert Gary Fugelseth Jr. and Sharon Thea Long, who brought immeasurable joy and purpose to Barbara's life.

As a mother, Barbara was nurturing, always there to mend a tear or celebrate a triumph. Her son, Robert, and her daughter, Sharon, along with her beloved daughter-in-law, Sarah Fugelseth, and son-in-law, Zack Long, were the pride of her life. She instilled in them the values of love, compassion, and resilience.

Her passions included sewing and crafting and creating things for her children and grandchildren. She was a very talented and artistic in her abilities.

Barbara's role as a grandmother was one she embraced with every ounce of her being. Her granddaughters, Ashley, Haley, and Sadie Fugelseth, were the light of her life. With each stitch of her crochet hook, she crafted not just blankets, scarves and clothing but also a legacy of memories and lessons that would keep her granddaughters warm and guided throughout their lives.

Her brothers, Daniel, John and Thomas Wisniewski, held a special place in her heart. The bond they shared was fortified by shared memories, steadfast loyalty, and the unspoken understanding that only siblings know. She was truly the matriarch of the family.
