Ashlesha Dhuri was born on November 6, 1994 in Pune, India. She moved to Rhode Island with her family in 1999. Ashlesha attended Scott's school in Warwick, RI for elementary school before continuing on at Cole middle and EGHS in East Greenwich, RI. She went on to receive a Bachelor's degree from the University of Connecticut in Cognitive Science, as well as minors in Neuroscience and Psychology. Anyone who knew Ashlesha would say she was an incredibly caring and kind-hearted person. She gave her all in providing love and support to others her whole life. Her sense of humor was second to none and she loved to share it with memes and gifs. She loved spending time swing-dancing with her friends, playing with her cat Kenny, or trying the hottest hot sauces she could. She was also incredibly talented; she was a third-degree black belt as well as an expert seamstress. Ashlesha was an incredibly special woman taken from us too soon. She always put her friends and family first, went above and beyond in support of others, and will be remembered in our hearts as the loving, kind soul she was. She is survived by her parents, Avinash and Sapna Dhuri, her brother Yash Dhuri, and the countless friends and family she touched throughout her life.
