Andrzej Skurpel, 70, passed March 10, 2026. He leaves behind a son, Marcin, daughter-in-law Kendra, granddaughter Angelika; and friends in both his Polish and retirement community.

Andy was born in 1955 in Lodz, Poland. He served with the military police, after which he worked with transformers. He met his wife in Poland and they had a son. In 1997 he and his family emigrated to the United States and later became citizens of this country. The family settled in Chicago where Andy worked at Happ's Incorporated. The family then moved to Arizona where he became a long-haul truck driver before retiring to Elgin, Illinois. He was married for 39 years to a devoted wife. He was loved by family and friends and will be remembered. May he Rest in Peace.
