Alfred Joseph Sarno, beloved father and loving husband, passed on from this earth on August 28, 2025, age 93.

Born in Brooklyn in July 1932, he became a true globe-trotter after spending 30 years working around the world in the oil industry.

In his retirement, he continued to travel for pleasure, with a special fondness for Noirmoutier in France. Retirement also allowed him to spend time with his family and indulge in his passion for classical music concerts and his collection of big band and old school jazz records. He will always be remembered for his warm smile, kind heart, cutting wit, and tea-making skills – a true gentleman.

Alfred is survived by his wife of 57 years Bridget, his son and daughter Christopher and Alexandra, his grandson Ollie, and in-laws Adalis, and Adam.
