Aaron Michael
Fulnecky
Oct 28, 1984 — Aug 2, 2024
Aaron Michael Fulnecky, a cherished son, a talented photographer, and avid fisherman passed away on August 2, 2024, at the age of 39. Born on October 28,1984, in Goshen, Indiana to proud parents Terry and Marilyn (Yeater) Fulnecky. He was a 2003 graduate of Goshen High School.
Aaron was an accomplished artist with a diverse body of work. He attended Columbia College Chicago, where he honed his craft and earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography.
His eye for detail, unique perspective, work ethic, wide skill set, and charm made him a highly sought-after photo and lighting assistant, a role in which he excelled. Aaron's dedication to the craft, quick wit, humor, and his warm personality made him a beloved figure among his colleagues and peers within the photography community.
While Aaron's professional life was centered around photography, his greatest passion in life was fishing. This is where he found solace and joy. His love for fishing began at the age of four in his backyard. He traveled many places to fish, and was a true conservationist. His favorites were steelhead and smallmouth bass. Aaron's fishing was more than just a pastime; it was his superpower. He was a great outdoorsman, and also loved kayaking and skiing.
Throughout his life, Aaron's kind, genuine heart and gentle spirit touched everyone he met. His infectious laughter, generosity, and firm hugs brought joy and comfort to those around him.
Aaron is survived by his loving parents, Terry and Marilyn (Yeater) Fulnecky; his brother Robert Fulnecky; his beloved partner Amanda Bertany. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and devoted friends. He will be deeply missed.
A private ceremony will be held in Goshen, IN at a later date in addition to a celebration of life in Chicago. Details to follow.
