Deljean Cobb was born September 25, 1954 in Chicago, IL. Deljean was the 2nd oldest of 7, mother to 4 and grandmother to 2. So as you can see, family was very important to her. She enjoyed cooking and baking especially for the holidays. During her younger years, she was a talented seamstress. She joined Liberty Temple Full Gospel Church in 1984 and later became an ordained Evangelist. Deljean operated a neighborhood candy store and later, a home daycare. She loved caring for the less fortunate and had a huge soft spot for animals. Her children spoiled her and she enjoyed every bit of it. Deljean was extremely proud of her children and ecstatic about becoming a grandmother. She was our 'praying momma' and not only will we miss that part of her, we will also miss her laughter, her hugs, our vacations, our talks, and everything MOM.
