Cosme L. Inawat "Omie", age 82, of Chicago Illionis, passed on August 15, 2021 at 1:30pm. He was born September 27th, 1938 in Pangil, Laguna Philippines.... the son of Juan Inawat and Constancia Leynes Inawat. Cosme "Omie" loved gospel and inspirational music, karaoke, and basketball.  He also enjoyed watching John Wayne and Elvis movies.  He found most joy spending time with his family especially his grandchildren.  Omie serenaded his future wife during her work break.... a very fond memory of the family.  He will be remembered fondly for his soft spoken way of leading, his advocacy and emphathy for others. He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Herminia Alvarez Inawat ; sons Ebenezer Inawat  and Jonathan Inawat ( Misty Durbin Inawat ) and grandchildren ;Gabrielle Alexandra and Ivy Lauren; and his 8 siblings; Ida Inawat Solina, Caring Inawat Saliendra, Rudy Inawat , Edying Inawat, Junior Inawat , Boy Inawat , Jim Inawat and Monching Inawat.
